ELVINGTON, VIDA E. - Services will be held at 2 p.m. tomorrow in the chapel of the Agee Family Funeral Home, Shafter, for Vida Esther Elvington, 65, of 267 West Second Street, Buttonwillow, who died Saturday in a Bakersfield hospital. The Rev. John Ogle, former pastor of the Buttonwillow Pentecostal Church of God, will officiate and burial will follow in Wasco Memorial Park. Mrs. Elvington, who was born in Arkansas, moved to Buttonwillow 25 years ago. She was a member of the Buttonwillow Pentecostal Church of God. Survivors include the widower, George; three daughters, Gladys Woolley of Wasco, Juanita Burleson of Oildale, Bonnie Rey of Wasco; a brother, Jewel Martin of Shafter; a sister, Mrs. Bessie Curtis of Riverside, 12 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Stanley Martin, John Maroni, Bill Callihan, Wayne Burrow, Jack Hedrick, Fay Rutledge, Pete Garner and Oscar Baldwin.
