JOSEPH GERALD KENNY

Joseph Gerald Kenny died at his home in Ridgecrest on Sunday, Oct. 24, 1993. He was 62.
Born Sept. 25, 1931 in New York City, he had served in the Korean War from 1952 to 1956. He had lived in Ridgecrest for the past 10 years and was employed as a car salesman for Desert Motors. He was a member of the American Legion.
Mr. Kenny is survived by his daughters Donna Viola of Louisiana and Theresa of New Mexico, sisters Mary Vie of Ridgecrest, Jean Beckerich of New York, and Dorothy Brief of Pennsylvania, brothers gerald B. O'Connor and John O'Connor, both of New York, nephews and nieces David, Kelley and Steven of Ridgecrest and many more, and grand-niece Sutton Vie of Ridgecrest.
Memorial services will be held on Wednesday at 9 am at St. Ann Catholic Church. Monsignor Kevin Cleary of St. Ann Church will preside. There will be a private cremation handled by Ridgecrest Mortuary.
