SISTER MARY CLAUDINE PEACOCK (MARY ALICE PEACOCK)

Sister Mary Claudine, SNJM (Mary Alice Peacock) died at the Convent of the Holy Names, Los Gatos, Feb. 17, 2005. She was 89.
A vowed religious for 69 years, Sister was a dedicated and well-loved educator and administrator who influenced the lives of many students and their families for more than 50 years. She ministered in the Catholic elementary schools of both Northern California as principal in Los Angeles, Oakland, Pasadena, Ridgecrest, Sacramento and San Marino.
She is survived by her loving brother Frank and his wife Jane, her nephew Ron, her many cherished friends and the Sisters and Associates of the Sisters of the Holy Names.
A Mass of Resurrection was celebrated Feb. 21 at Convent of the Holy Names in Los Gatos.
Interment was at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery in Hayward.
Funeral arrangements were provided by Darling and Fischer Chapel of the Hills in Los Gatos.
