As it happens, I have this obit with me on vacation! I was doing some research on this family and have it as part of a group I'm indexing.

KLIEWER, Daniel - Services will be conducted September 17 at 2 p.m. at the Mennonite Brethren Church in Shafter with interment following in Shafter Cemetery for Daniel Kliewer, 73, of 516 Klassen Drive, Shafter, who died at his home, September 13. A carpenter, he had resided there for 22 years. He was born in Childstown, S. D., June 21, 1878. Survivors include his widow, Bessie; three sons, William and LaVerne Kliewer of Shafter and Ben Kliewer of San Pedro. Also two sisters, Mrs. C. Strauss of Shafter and Mrs. Jacob Pissen of South Dakota. The Reverend Waldo Weibe will officiate and Armstrong Mortuary in Shafter is in charge of arrangements.

Rosie's name was Rosie Schindler and the Mrs. Jacob Pissen was his sister Anna Tsiezen whose name they really mangled.
