Fremont Valley friends of Mrs. Rohda Mumsay were shocked to learn of her death. She passed away Tuesday afternoon at Los Angeles Hospital at the age of 96 years. She came to the desert as a young woman and lived to see its many transformations. Most of her 96 years were spent in Fremont Valley. After her husbands death she moved to Alhambra but frequently returned to see her old friends here. Funeral services were held at the Turner Chapel Friday Jan 13, in Alhambra. Graveside services were held at Bakersfield Saturday afternoon January 14 at Union Cemetery.
