My sister, Claudia Dunn (at the time) lived in a house on Oleander Street(?) in Delano, across from a church. Down a ways was Our Savior Lutheran Church that I once attended. Her house had a detached garage. I believe the story was that the trunk was stored in the garage (which wasn't used) and that it got left behind when they moved. It had an American flag that was given to my grandmother at her son's Army funeral, as well as many other items. The trunk belonged to my grandmother, Margaret F. (Sullivan) Toner. There would have been papers with her name on them. If any of this sounds familiar, I'd sure appreciate hearing from you.
