Boron Resident Passes Away

Funeral services for Arvil A. Nichols, 43, were held in Boron' on May 29th.
Mr. Nichols, a resident of Kern County for 16 years, died suddenly at his home, 26800 Jessie St., on May 25. He was born in Reno, Arkansas, on April 4, 1931. He had worked as a mechanical technician for U.S. Borax for the past 16 years.
He is survived by his wife, Loula M., at the home address; two sons, Darrell and Stacey, and two daughters, Pamela and Paulette, all at the home; his mother, Mae Nichols, Carson, Calif.; two brothers, Carl, Carson. Calif; and MurI, Portland, Ore.; and four sisters, Betty Hutchison and Genevieve Ray, both of Prairie, Mo.; Esther Barker, Torrance, and Susan Wright, Lomita.
The Rev. J. L. Garland officiated at the 10 a.m. services held at the Boron Bible Church.
