Services For W. F. Rokey

Funeral services for William F. Rokey, 65, of Rosamond were held at the Mumaw Funeral in Lancaster on Oct. 25.
Mr. Rokey was born Nov. 29, 1908, in Shannon City, Iowa, and passed away Oct. 23 in a Lancaster hospital. He was a retired fireman from Edward s AFB, and had lived in the Antelope Valley since 1956. He was a veteran of WW II.
He is survived by his wife, Edith, at the home; son Wayne Rokey, Rosamond; four daughters, Betty Gillen, Iowa; Donna McDonald, Las Vegas; Shirley Wagner, Illinois; and Marilyn Harding, Colo.; 19 grand children and 3 great grandchildren.
He was a past Master of the Masonic Lodge in Blakesburg ,. Iowa, and Masons officiated at he services. Interment was in Joshua Memorial Park in Lancaster.
