RETIRED RANCHMAN CALLED BY DEATH
Thornton Findley, 83, Bakersfield resident for the past 12 years, died last
night at the home of his niece, Mrs. S. Lackey, 814 Oregon street.
Deceased was a retired rancher, and had lived in the state for more than 50
years.
Mr. Findley is survived by three nephews, Charles Rody, Tulare, Willis Rody
of Los Angeles, and A. H. Rody of Oakland. He is survived also by two nieces,
Mrs. S. Lackey of Bakersfield and Mrs. F. M. Busby of Tulare.
The body is at the Hopson mortuary, preparatory to its removal to Tulare
tomorrow afternoon, where funeral services and interment will take place early
next week.
