Services For Mrs. Butler

Funeral services for Mrs. Jennie A. Butler, a native Californian and 6 year resident of Mojave, were held at Rose.Hills Memorial Park in Whittier.on Monday, May 5.
Mrs. Butler made her home at 15873 N St. She was born August 27, 1897, in Riverside. She married her husband, the former Harry Butler, in Big Bear in 1955. She was a resident of the Lake Hughes area for 50 years until moving to Mojave in 1969 after her husband's death. She passed away May 3 at a Lancaster hospital at the age of 77.
Mrs. Butler is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Norma Mettler of Mojave, and Mrs. Violet Woods of San Diego; a son
Charles Tripp of Riverside; a sister, Mrs. Allie Illse, Michigan; a brother, Pat Densmore, Missouri; eight grandchildren and many great grandchildren.
The pastor of the Whittier Methodist Church officiated at the 11:30 a.m. rites, and interment followed at Rose Hills Memorial Park. Murphy Mortuary, Lancaster, was in charge of arrangements.
