Services For "Bill” Carey

Funeral services for George A. "Bill" Carey, 67, were held at the Stickel Mortuaries Chapel in Mojave on Feb. 1, 1975.
Mr. Carey was born at White Sulphur Springs, W. Va., on July 23, 1907, and passed away on Jan. 29. He served with the Army Signal Corps during WWII. He came to Kern County in 1952, and was employed in the transportation section at Edwards AFB until his retirement in 1970. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge #783 in Mojave, and affiliated with the Masonic Lodge in White Sulphur Springs.
He is survived by his wife,,Sara, at the home at 15965 N St.; a brother, Everett; two sisters, Christine Sweet and Nell Corcoran, all of White Sulphur Springs.
Rev. Kenneth Pults, Church of the Nazarene, Mojave, and the, officers of the Masonic Lodge, officiated at the services. Interment was in the Mojave Cemetery with military honors.

George A. ''Bill” Cary Passes
Long time resident George A. "Bill" Cary, 67, passed away Wednesday afternoon, Jan. 29, after being declared DOA at
Tehachapi Hospital at approximately 2:20 p.m.
Kern County Fire Dept. was called and brought the resuscitator to his home, after which Morris Ambulance rushed the
man to Tehachapi.
Survivors include his wife Sary, at the home, 15965 N. St. but further details were unavailable at press time.
Stickel Mortuaries are in charge of arrangements.
