DAVID V. GOODELL 1942-2006

Ridgecrest resident David V. Goodell passed away Friday, Feb. 24, 2006. He was 63.
A memorial service will be held Friday March 10, at 2 pm at Holland & Lyons Chapel, 216 S. Norma St. The Rev. Dr. Ed Jayne will officiate. Private burial will be at sea.
Mr. Goodell was born May 28, 1942 in Waltham, Mass. He served in the US Navy from 1959 to 1980 and moved to Ridgecrest in 1982. He worked as a quality assurance specialist for the Naval Air Warfare Station China Lake until his retirement in 1992.
In his spare time, he loved to cook and read. He also enjoyed camping and liked to camp out along the Kern River.
He was preceded in death by his parents Howard and Marion Goodell and a brother Howard Goodell.
He is survived by a son William John Goodell of La Mesa, a daughter Melodie Lynn Stubjkar of Tampa, Fla., a son David Wayne Goodell of Oklahoma City, Okla., a sister Marcia Dougherty of Largo, Fla. and four grandchildren.

DAVID V. GOODELL

David V. Goodell died Feb. 24, 2006 in Ridgecrest. He was 63.

He loved to cook, read and go camping along the Kern River.
