Services For John Landau

Graveside services will be held on Friday, Nov. 5, for John O. Landau, 79, who made his home at 15841 L St. in Mojave.
Mr. Landau was born March 22, 1897, in Missouri, and passed away Oct. 27 in the Veteran's Hospital in Tucson, Ariz. He was a veteran of both world wars, and was also a retired carpenter. He had lived in California and the Bakersfield area for 72 years, moving to Mojave a little over one year ago.
He is survived by his wife, Susan, at the home; a brother, Charles, Santa Ana, and two sisters, Florence Gillespie, Rosamond, and Bernice Stont, Bakersfield.
Gordon Bunn, bishop of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Mojave, will officiate at the 2:00 p.m. services in the Mojave Cemetery. Stickel Mortuaries were in charge of arrangements.
