Three Killed
In Head-0nCrash

Two women and a teenage boy were killed in a headon collision on Edwards Air Force Base on Tuesday, Sept. 28"The accident occurred on Rosamond Blvd. three miles east of the Base gate.
Dead at the scene were Virginia Ann Pengilley, 38, of Rosamond, and Donna Eaton, 29, of Edwards. Mrs. Eaton's son, Jimmy Joe, 15, was taken to Antelope Valley Hospital, where )he died at 11:55 p.m. The time of the accident was 7:20 p.m.
The fatal accident is still under investigation by the California Highway Patrol, but from the evidence at the scene, they believe that Mrs. Pengilley's vehicle crossed the center divider, striking the Eaton car headon.
Mrs. Eaton and her son are survived by their husband and father, T / Sgt. Randall Eaton of Edwards AFB. Services are pending in Bossier City, Louisiana.
Mrs; Pengilley lived at 4209 Rosamond Blvd. She is survived. by her husband; William, M., Jr., and Edward; a daughter, Rowena, and her parents in Farmington, N. M. Funeral services are pending at Stickel Mortuaries in Mojave.
