my great great grandfather, Simon FINNIGAN was born in Ireland about 1825, married Alice WARD, born Ireland abt. 1825, had four children born in Ireland Patrick, Barney, Mary, and Philip. Between 1847 and 1850, Simon died and Alice married Dennis CALLAGHAN, born Ireland abt 1825 and the family came to America appearing in the 1850 census in Cleveland Ohio. Alice and Dennis subsequently had Timothy Callaghan, b. 1857 in Cleveland. Any connection?

I'm interested in Dennis and if there is a connection to Aaron Callaghan, born in VA around 1820, came to Kentucky then on to Missouri. Don't know if Dennis or John might be the father.
