Hi,
I am searching for O'Callaghan too.
My great grandfather was John O'Callaghan, born 1851 in or around Newry, Co. Armagh. His father was Dennis, I don't know his mother's name. He had at least one brother, called Joseph and a sister who married, and was living in California, in 1902.John married Mary Jane Staunton, daughter of William and Margaret Staunton, in Birkenhead, North-West England, in 1880. As far as I know he was a tailor, and had been in the North-West from around 1870, but it is posible that he travelled to America on more than one occasion. I cannot obtain a birth certificate for him, in order to trace back further. Do you think there may be a link?
