I accidentally found the Irish Origins site's excellent Irish surname search
engine that links you to various on-line birth, marriage, death, and other
records: <A HREF="www.irishorigins.com/search.aspx">www.irishorigins.com/search.aspx</A>. It asks you for surname and
forename (first name). I narrowed down the search in some cases by adding a
Parish or County in the Optional fields box or dates in the Year Range, but
remember this will eliminate records where the person creating them didn't
have the Parish-County-date on each page. You may not find your ancestor, but
you could eliminate some sources where they aren't listed.
