Mr. Albert Chapple (born 1861) was murdered by a jealous man and he was
either shot or stabbed. This occurred between late 1900 and 1905. His wife
Priscilla Reynolds Chapple raised their three children by herself, the
oldest child was about 10 at this time.
According to the 1900 CA census for Los Angeles County, San Gabriel Township,
Albert was alive and was a carpenter/ carriage builder who was born in
New York.
