Howdy All,
Can someone please help me out with a death record? The lady I'm
researching is: Emma Perkins; b: 3-8-1868 in Michigan. She died on (or the
death was recorded on) 1-4-1947, in Los Angeles (19). I thought I'd try this
before mailing away for a death certificate. Any help would be greatly
appreciated. I'll gladly pay any costs involved.
I know there has been some contention in the County Recorder's office
with "paid" genealogists complaining about others who out of the goodness of
their heart help complete strangers without charge or demand. I certainly
hail their efforts and say thank you in advance!
