Check the LDS library catalog. I found a few L.A. city directories listed.
I'd guess you could order these films through your local LDS FHC. I plan to
look at the films when I go to Salt Lake in the summer.

Also, you could check the Sutro LIbrary web site to see what they have for
directories.
