I am a newcomer to this list and hope my posting will be in order. I live in
UK but recently discovered that a relative of mine, Albert Lawson, who was
born in London, died in LA and was buried in the Inglewood Cemetery in 1958,
where his wife Clara joined him when she died in 1966.

I would very much like to discover more about Albert and any of his
descendants but ignorant as I am about genealogy in the US, especially
California, am not sure how to set about it. I would welcome advice as
follows:

1. can the public in the US view wills and if so how?
2. how can I best find details of Albert and Clara's marriage in January
1902?
3. can one access censuses after 1902 and if so how?

Though I cannot expect it, it would of course be a great bonus and much
appreciated if anybody can easily access this information and let me have it
( details from the 1920 census would be the ideal ).
