Greetings Fellow Researchers!

I need to get marriage, divorce, and birth certificates for people born,
married, and/or divorced in Santa Monica between the years 1945-1978. I take it
I must go to Los Angeles to get the records and not Santa Monica. Is this
correct? Where in LA would I go pick up these records? Where would I look up
divorce records? I plan to be there soon for a few days and thought I could get
them while I am there.
