Does anyone on this list have a subscription to
Rootsweb and can look-up 1930 US Census? (My Heritage
Quest has incomplete 1930 census for 5 states only.)

Looking for
Elsa DUELL (or Elsie), divorced,
* in Los Angeles county (or New York City).
* age in 1930 could have been 43, 32, or 36
(On SS-5 (SS application) and the SSDI, Elsa's DOB was
21 Sept 1877 Chicago; on CA Death Certificate and
CADI, Elsa's DOB was 21 Sept 1898 New York; on PA
marriage license, her DOB was 21 Sept 1894 Chicago.
She deliberately lied about her age to appear younger
than her husband or work longer than 65.)

* She could have been listed with her mother, Lena
HALL (b Norway), or step-father Charles HALL (b IL) -
neither of whom I have located after 1910 Chicago
census - or their deaths.)
Lena gave Hollywood as her residence in clippings of
Elsa's 1921 marriage (under stage name Lilian TUCKER)
to Charles Holland DUELL Jr in Pennsylvania).

(As Lilian TUCKER, Elsa was an actress (1898-1921); As
Elsie/Elsa DUELL she worked for Mary Pickford Company
of Beverly Hills in some capacity in 1930s according
to her SS-5; last 20 years of her life Elsie/Elsa
DUELL was an "interior decorator".)

* Her last address (late 1930s-1972) was
"1728 El Cerrito Pl, Hollywood" on CA Death
Certificate and SS-5.
