A Walk Through Time at Mountain View Cemetery

Sunday, November 6, 11:00 a.m.-3:00 p.m.

Actors and historians in period costumes will welcome
visitors to the gravesites at historic Mountain View
Cemetery in Altadena, as they portray such gregarious
spirits as Thaddeus Lowe (founder of Mt. Lowe railroad
and the first military balloonist), architect Wallace
Neff, heiress Kate Crane Gartz and other notable
personalities.

Visitors participating in this self-guided tour can
hail a horse-drawn carriage or walk from one tombstone
to another. Mountain View Cemetery is located at 2400
N. Fair Oaks Ave. in Altadena.

This is a fund raiser and a fee will be charged for
adults. Children free. Reservations required by
Wednesday, November 2, 2005.
