Charles Calvert is listed in the 1870 census for Indianapolis as having been born in 1841 PA, occupation "patent rights dealer". He was living in the James Watson household at census time, and my assumption is that he was the fiance of Watson's daughter Rebecca. I do not know for certain that they married. He might have simply been a boarder.
Rebecca, like her mother Rebecca, was shown as a housekeeper in that census.
James M. Watson was an "engine builder" and his son Elmer W. was a brakeman, presumably both in the railroad industry.
Hoping to find descendants or ancestors of Charles.
