Ken,
I talked to the people of Sierra Historical Sites Association in
Oakhurst today. They didn't know anythng about the cemetery in Nip.
But they have listings for many others in the foothill area.
Even some information regarding private land cemeteries.
The office is open 10-3 mon thru fri. I do plan to stopped
by tomorrow or the next day to see what records are there.
Will let you know.
I did hear over the weekend some news on the Nip cemetery, It was
located at the Ahwahnee Hills School property.
It seems that the remains were removed to the Oakhill Cemetery in Oakhurst;
however I can't confirm that yet.
Hope to get some history on the early years of the school. There
might be some clues there.
