Hi Chris, I guess it could be the same man. My grandmother was Madge's cousin. My grandmother's not alive either, but her sister-in-law, whose 93, is, and she used to do a lot of family history from that side of the family, and asked me to see if I could tie up some of her old loose ends for her, including finding out what had happened to Madge's father. I did find his death notice, but then decided to also find out what happened to his children. If you could ask Scott Piper if he is related to the one I'm looking for, I'd like to get the obits. I can fill in some family history for him also, if he's interested. The Madge Piper I'm looking for was Madge Isabelle Holt Piper. She was born in Utah, but the family moved to Oakland sometime while she was still fairly small, I think. Her father was Moses John Holt who was a chiropractor in Oakland. (Moses was brother to my great grandfather, Joseph Bowhey Holt). So if that sounds to him as though it's the right family, I'd love !
to hear from him. Paula
