Hello Jackie,
Have met Diana Gabaldon, author of the "Outlander" series. Her fiction is
only concerning people's names. All the battle action in "Outlander" is
extensively researched onsite at Culloden. Apparently the Camerons were quite
active in the Resistance and were heavily murdered at Culloden. There is a
Clan Cameron website available with actual pictures of the "ole homeplace" and
links to the current Clan Chieftain, who is willing to help with genealogy, I
understand.
I am still trying to get past 20th century Camerons in MS, so I haven't done
much in Scotland.
