If anyone is researching a Hugh Cameron that was in Madison County, Franklin
County, or Yazoo County, Mississippi, I would appreciate it if you would
email me. I have a Hugh Cameron that was in Marion Co., Mississippi in 1829
and 1830 paying taxes on some land with Jesse Cameron. I feel that this Hugh
Cameron is related to Jesse, and I am trying to find out what the
relationship is. In searching the Mississippi State Census, there is a Hugh
Cameron in the above counties during 1820, 1840, 1841, and 1845. No Hugh
Cameron came up during the years I find him with my ancestor Jesse. This
could be a clue into helping me and other researchers finding out who Jesse
Cameron's parents are.
