Maybe you are invoking REPLY ALL? Try invoking REPLY.

There are so many different browsers, differently constructed by the mfrs, and then
differently configured by the users. You may get advice such as mine, that is
inapproprate.

Listers, Peg is one of those kind gals who get lots of dubious advice!!
