Thank you Mo! for the welcome. There are indeed at great many people and places named unknown. I have many in my family line. What a dreadful word!

In brief, my line from the Camerons runs like this:
Valentine T. Cameron and Elizabeth ???
Mary M. Cameron and James F. McWhorter
Malone Deed McWhorter and Ethel Orie Mayfield
LaVaughan McWhorter and Clifford C. Bean
Pamela Bean ( me) and husband and 2 children

Notice I did not use THAT word?
