Ida Jane Ryan, 74, dies In Janesville. Ida Jane Ryan, age 74, a resident of Lassen County for over 40 years died at the Razor [Raser] ranch at Janesville, Monday afternoon, April 9. A widow of the late Dennis Ryan, Mrs. Ryan was born in Napa County, California.

Surviving are five sons, William and Clyde Gamma of Sacramento; Clarence Gamma of Adin; and Elmer and John Kaerth of Susanville. Two daughters, Mrs. Florence Orr of Redding and Mrs. Rosie Cook of Susanville. Two brothers, Jess Smith of Adin and Samuel Smith of Tacoma, Washington. Three sisters, Mrs. Cleave Mullberry of Rodeo; Mrs. Mary Fulton and Mrs. Carry Gaylord of Bieber. Mrs. Fulton and Mrs. Gaylord were at their sister's bedside when she died, arriving from their home in Bieber early in the morning on the day of her death. Mrs. Ryan also leaves 17 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at the White Memorial Chapel on Friday, April 13 at 2:00 p.m., with the Reverend P.C. Knudson officiating. Commitment will be in the family plot in Susanville Cemetery.
