Died in Round Valley, Modoc County at the residence of A. Kesserling, March 9, 1885, Clarence, (son of William and Mary Heryford, of Lake County, Oregon) aged about 5 years.

[The remains of the child were brought to the Bieber cemetery and buried by the side of its grandfather's (Robert Powers) grave. The funeral was attended by relatives (L. Powers and family, David Watson and family, J.F. McCrary and family)and a large number of the citizens of Bieber and vicinity. Appropriate services were conducted by Rev. W.H. Howard.]
