Carolyn, thanks for posting this information, I hope it helps everyone.
I hope you can clarify some of your information for me as I am confused about
Samuel Camp, s/o James Camp, md to Elizabeth Kilbourn.....the references I
have looked at show his name was James Camp, namely Wethersfield Inscriptions
p. 172 and Genealogy of Ancient Wethersfield p. 202. I appreciate your
thoughts on this one. Do you think his name may have been a combination of the
two?
Also you stated the parentage of Capt. John Camp has never been 100% proven. I
wanted to share my sources for his parentage, I hope you don't mind:
BIRTH:VOL. OL P102
CHRISTENING:MILFORD FIRST CHURCH RECORD
DEATH:WILL NEW ENGLAND
MARR PRIOR TO 1700 MAYFLOWER VOL 60 P301
MAYFLOWER VOL 59 P 316
NEHGR-P7 VOL 1
ACKLEY FAMILY P86
GENEALOGICAL DICTIONARY OF FIRST SETTLERS OF N. ENGLAND BY JAMES SAVAGE.
Looking forward to hearing from you.
