Carolyn,

I have searched the Camp Family Database trying to find any John Camp that was
married to a Lydia. The only one was John Camp md Lydia C. Eastlack 12 sep
1830 in Gloucester County, New Jersey - very obviously not the one we want.
There were many John's that had unknown wife's.

I am not sure who Lydia is that John refers to in his will. All the
references to Mary Sanford do not have a Lydia mentioned as part of her
name.John was first married to Hannah Benton and there is no mention of Lydia
as part of her name. John died 14 March 1710 and his last child was born in
1699 and I didn't find any divorce actions against Mary Sanford since she
lived until 1727, and no remarriage records to a Lydia.

What I am confused also is in the will John apparently numbers his sons, 1-3
and 2-3.....but John had 5 sons - at least 4 were alive before he died. And
why would he say John was 2-3 and Joseph was 1-3 when John was born first in
1675 and Joseph was born in 1679. Anyone know more about this?
