Subject: William A Camp b. 1809 VA

I am researching the following Camp line. My oldest proven ancestor is
William A. Camp who was born about 1809 (from census records). His first
wife is unknown. His second wife was Elizabeth Sams. They were married in
Monroe Co. VA about 1844. I have always had a "sneaking" suspicion that
William is from the Orange Co. VA group...but have never been able to prove
it...primarily because the name Henry Clay Camp is a name that has been
handed down in the family.
Another Camp in the area of Monroe who might (or might not <G>) be related
is FWG Camp. That name appears in a number of early records in the county.
I would appreciate ANY help at all with these people....they have been a
brick wall to a number of Camp Researchers for many years.
Thanks in advance.
Marilyn
