Subject: [CAMP-L] New Camp Boards at Rootsweb

Hi all,

I just got notified that I was able to adopt the Camp GenConnect Board at
Rootsweb and I feel that this would be a great permanent place to post
bible_records, biographies, deeds, obituaries, pensions and wills for the
Camp families. You will be able to post, yourself, any Camp
information that
you have in your possession that you would like to share. I am
very excited
about this new research possiblity and I hope everyone will participate.

This will save space/bandwidth on the Camp Family web page and put some of
the web page work off of me and let me do more for the dozens of
queries/letter/research materials I get each week.

Too bad they don't have a census page, however I will continue to
keep that
on the Camp web site. Also they do have a Query page, but our
Camp mail list
should be used for those. If anyone posts to the Query page, they will be
receiving an email from me inviting them to join the Camp mail
list and the
Camp Family Association.

Once I transfer the existing bible records and obits off the Camp web site
and place them on the rootsweb site, I will be taking those pages off the
Camp page. DEBBY, you may want to post your obits directly to the
obituaries
page and not to the Camp list anymore - just a suggestion. I will
be posting
those you have sent to the list as of today, so any future ones
you can post
directly to the Camp obit board and save me the cut & paste work.
If it is a
problem, let me know.

Here is the URL for the Camp GenConnect Board, visit it and let me
know what
you think. I hope everyone will be able to post thing they have in one of
the catagories. Be sure to bookmark this address.
