Hi Sherri: According to the Kemp-Camp Book Volume 1, Ruth Camp was born in
1780 and was the second wife of David Patterson, marrying him in 1825 at
age 45. She died in the home of her brother Joshua Camp and was buried in
the
Thomas Camp Cemetery. It also states that she had no children. This was
written up in early Camp Bulletin #17 published in 1932. I am wondering if
you are descended from a child of David Patterson and his first wife? I
would like to hear about your lineage.

I am a direct descendant of Thomas Camp through his daughter, Ruth Camp,
that
married David Patterson. It is said that Ruth is buried in an unmarked
grave
with her mother and father.
