Hello, I checked the LDS files for you, they have a marriage date of 15
Dec 1804 for James Campbell and Lucy Howard, Grainger Co., Tennessee.
He had a second spouse listed by the name of Phoebe Barnes. He was born
in 1786 in Tennessee and your death date matches.

James Campbell had been submitted to the LDS records by two people, a
Mona Barrett of Phoenix, Arizona in 1983 and Trena Sabin of Centerville,
Utah in 1992. You may have luck going further by contacting them.
