Searching for the parents of Sir Robert Campbell, either the 8th or the
9th of Glenorchy (BD abt 1575; BP Glenurchy, Scotland; DD 17 Nov 1657)
who married Isabel Macintosh (BD abt 1583; BP Torecastle, Dunnackton,
Scotland) in abt. 1615. Sir Robert Campbell was the grandfather or Sir
John Campbell, 11th of Glenorchy, 1st Earl of Breadalbane. I have info
on some of his ancestors, based on the fact that the Breadalbane line
was founded by Sir Colin Campbell, 1st of Glenorchy, son of Sir Duncan
Campbell, Knight of Lochow, 1st Lord of Campbell, but I can't seem to
find the line between Sir Robert and Sir Colin Campbell, 1st of
Glenorchy.
