New to the list and looking for information regarding my Grandfather Harry
R. Campbell (whom I never had the chance to meet), born abt 1889, location
unknown. Husband of Emma Lela Day, born 10/14/1897, Monticello, Piatt
County, IL, daughter of Samuel Day Sr. and Emma H. Dyke. Harry R. Campbell
was a Railroad Brakeman, and resided at 807 E. Prairie Street, Decatur,
Macon County,
IL on 01-06-1913 at the birth of my father Virgil leland Campbell. Harry R.
Campbell was the brother of Helen Campbell, who married Grover Elkins and
later adopted Virgil Leland (Campbell) Elkins.
