Surname: Campbell, Rupley, Shear

I am looking for an Adelbert Campbell, my g.g.grandfather, born around
1850-60. My Adelbert married Barbara Ann Rupley in Wabash Co, IN. Barbara's
family came from Lancaster Co, PA to Wabash Co.

Barbara and Adelbert had a son, Albert born around 1880-90. Albert was
just one of many children. Albert married Cora Whitcraft around 1910 and
my Grandmother was born in
1912.

Rumor has it that Adelbert's parents were John H. and Charity (?). Following
Barbara Ann's death, Adelbert moved to California where he died in his
daughter's care. I know nothing more of his family or where he was born.

The few rememberances of my grandmother concerning Grandpa Campbell was
that he always wore white socks and that he was very lazy.

Any information that you have on this family would be appreciated.
