Surname: Campbell
-------------------------

Could your Thomas Campbell have come from the coal regions of PA after
1877. I have a Thomas in my line that left that area after his brother,
Alex, was hanged because of affiliation with the Molly Maguires. Thomas
left the area after that and no one knows exactly where he ended up. He
came to the US in about 1868 at the age of 18 or so. So it is entirely
possible to have fathered a son in 1887. These Campbells came from Dungloe
in County Donegal, Ireland. He did not go back to Ireland...that much is
known.
