Hi Folks,

I'm looking for info on a group of Campbells that I think came from
Scotland to SC, then to TN, then settled in IL. What I have so far is
from loose notes & some info I found in an Ancestral File gedcom. Not
sure how much of it is accurate, but I'm listing what I have here in
case someone recognizes this family. I'm most interested in this line:

Ivor (Iver?) (1), Alexander (2), Andrew Jacskon (3), Andrew Jackson (4),
James Edward (5)

I'd love to communicate with anyone who can verify any of my information
or who can add to the details of what I have.

Ivor married Nancy (Agnes) MCCAUSLAND, in Scotland. Born in 1760 in
Scotland. Nancy (Agnes) died in IL in 1825; she was 65.

They had the following children:

4. Jane CAMPBELL. Born abt 1787 in Scotland. Jane died in IL. Buried in
Preston Cemetery, Randolph Co.?, IL.

5. Alexander CAMPBELL. Born in 1787 in North Knapdale, Argyle, Scotland.
Buried in Campbell Cemetery, Weaver Place, Near Steelville, IL.

Alexander married Jane CAULIE (COLLIE), daughter of William CAULIE
(COLLIE) & Mary, in Charleston, SC. Born on 7 Dec 1785 in North
Knapdale, Argyle, Scotland.

They had the following children:

died on 6 May 1850; he was 35.

On 16 Apr 1847 when Andrew Jackson was 32, he married Mary CAUDLE. Born
abt 1819 in Carbondale, Jackson Co., IL.

On 6 Oct 1870 when Andrew Jackson was 20, he married Emily Isabelle
MORROW, daughter of James Cooker MORROW & Elizabeth McANULTY. Born in
1846 in Randolph Co.?, IL. Emily Isabelle died in Carbondale, Jackson
Co., IL on 16 Jun 1936; she was 90.

In 1928 when Orwood Jackson was 29, he married Kathyn MACLACHLAN.
