Hello.....I have found some Campbell's in the 1910 census of Grady
county in Oklahoma, but have as yet to find a connection. This is a
decent size list. I am hoping that some of you will have some info that
can help me. If not, I am hopeful that some of this info will help one
or more of you.

The following was taken from a 1910 census of Grady County, Oklahoma.
If you have any info on any of these I would be grateful for your help.
I am especially looking for a Charles Fred CAMPBELL who married a Mary
Aldena BEAVER.....but ANY info would be appreciated.

1. John H. Campbell ..... at the time of the census (1910) he was 51
yrs old. He was widowed. He was born in Mississippi. His father was
born in Tennessee His mother was born in Mississippi. He was a
proprietor, owning and runing a restauraunt. He had a roommate named
Paul. M. Marsh. Nothing is said about children.

2. John C. Campbell ...... at the time of the census (1910), he ,was 38
yrs old. He had been married for 8 years. He was born in Kentucky. His
father was born in Kentucky, as was his mother. His wife's name was
Mary? (hard to read her name, so not absolute). She was 25 yrs old.
She was born in Indiana. Her mother and father were also born in
Indiana. They had no children at this time.

3. Holmes C. Campbell...... He was 28 yrs old at the time of the census
(1910) and single. He lived in the "TUTTLE" family home, where it is
listed that he was a brother in law. It is also listed that he was
Native American, though not sure. He was born in Oklahoma. His father
was born in England. His mother was born in Penn.

4. Thomas A Campbell ...... He was 34 yrs old at time of census (1910).
He was born in Texas. His father was born in Louisana. His mother was
born in Texas. At the time of the census, this was his second marriage.
His wife was Buela, age 24 at the time of the census (1910). She was
born in Texas. Her father was from Missouri. Her mother was from
Texas. Here is a list of Thomas A Campbell and Buela's children:

1. J. Alonzo (not sure on the name, hard to read)....son, 14
yrs old at time of census. Born in Oklahoma.
2. Samuel A....... son....age 12 at the time of the census.
Born in Oklahoma
3. Maylean ..... daughter .... age 9 at time of census. Born
in Oklahoma.

Also, they had other relatives living with them at the time of the
census.....

......Jaunita THOMAS .... "Sister in law" (though not sure to whom she
was married) age 18 at time of censue. she was born in Texas. Her
father was from Missouri. Her mother was from Texas.

.......Jo JESS ..... "brother in law" (though not sure to whom he was
married to) He was 26 at time of census. He was born in Texas. His
father is from Missouri. His mother from Texas.

5. Samuel S. CAMPBELL ... He was 28 yrs old at time of census (1910).
He is classified as Indian. He was married 9 yrs at this time. He was
born in Texas. His father is from Louisana. His mother is from Texas.
His wife is Clar S (maiden name unknown). She was 26 yrs at time of
census. She was born in Texas. Her father and mother both are from
Missouri. They had 6 children. 4 were alive at time of census. Here
are the children mentioned in the census:

A. Dorothy J. Campbell .... age 5 yrs at time of census. Born in
Oklahoma
B. Sybil Campbell ...... age 3 yrs old at time of census. Born in
Oklahoma.
C. Pauline Campbell .... age 2 yrs old at time of census. Born in
Oklahoma
D. Boy ..... age 10 - 12 yrs old at time of census. Born in
Oklahoma.

6. James L. CAMPBELL .... 35 years old at time of census (1910). He is
classified as "Indian"> He was born in Texas. His father and mother
were born in Louisanna. His wife was Catherine (no maiden name given).
She was 40 yrs old at time of census. She was born in Kansas? (unsure,
unreadable). Her father was born in France. Her mother was born in
Germany. They had 6 children.....5 children alive at time of census.
Here is a list of children living with them at the time of the census:

A. K.A. Irene.....12 yrs old at time of census. Born in Oklahoma.
B. Eva D.F. ......1 yr old at time of census. Born in Oklahoma.
C. Frank ...... 6 yrs old at time of census......born in Oklahoma

7. William H. CAMPBELL ...... He was 31 years old at time of census and
had been married for 8 years. He was born in Missouri. Both of his
parents were born in Illinois. His wife was Myrtle (no maiden name).
She was 26 at time of census (1910). She was born in Missouri Her
mother was from Iowa. They had one child living with them at the time
of the census......William V. CAMPBELL......he was 4 yrs old at this
time. he was born in Missouri.

8. Charles B. CAMPBELL ..... he was 49 years old at time of census
(1910). He had been married for 26 years. He was born in Oklahoma. His
father was from Ireland. His mother was from Oklahoma. His wife was
Margaret J. (no maiden name given). She was 26 yrs old at time of
census. She was born in Oklahoma. Her father was born in Kentucky.
Her mother was born in Oklahoma. They had 7 children. Here is a list
of the children living with them at the time of the census:

A. Charles W.W. CAMPBELL ... 22 yrs old at time of census.
Single. Born in Oklahoma.
B. Mary F.E. CAMPBELL ... 20 yrs old. Born in Oklahoma.
C. Milton B. CAMPBELL.... 17 yrs old. Born in Oklahoma.
D. Stella B. CAMPBELL ..... 15 yrs old....born in Oklahoma.
E. Frances B. CAMPBELL ... (daughter) 12 yrs old. Born in
Oklahoma
F. Effie M. (daughter) CAMPBELL.... (not sure on the spelling,
difficult to read) ..... 8 yrs old....born in Oklahoma.


If you have any info on these lines, I would greatly appreciate
it......I hope that maybe I have helped someone else as well. Thank you
