The Campbells I am searching for are mentioned in your Valley Leaves
Vol.18 #1, 1983-84 the compiler of this Info was Don Raney whom I have
not been able to get a hold of, In it he writes I am researching the
Campbells in the same area and am certain that our Campbells are
related. There are so many Campbells in this area with similar names
that they are sure to be all decended from the same family. He at the
time was relating this to a Mike Landwehr from Des Moines who is
decended from Willis Mclemore Campbell, This was the brother of my 3rd
GGfather. Gay is there a chance I might be able to get my hands on a
back copy of this particular Vol.18 #1 of Valley Leaves? Mr. Raney gave
a hypothesis group starting with Pierce Campbell and an Elizabeth Morgan
ca.1735 and then he stems it out with three sons John Campbell and
William Campbell who were in the Rev. War. also a Perciphul Campbell abt
1755.
>From Perciphul it shows the other lines of Campbells, next generation
with John 1779 and his sons Eli C. Campbell 1800-1810, John R. 1820,
Willis M. 1823, George L. 1825 and Stephen 1823? Then the brother of
John Perciphul mind you this says possible? It says circa 1755 and that
he was married to Sarah Cook. thier sons were William R. 1792, Perciphul
1794, Theophilus M. 1796 and John R. 1802 married to Lucy. Williams.
The next brother is Theophilus Campbell ca. 1777 his sons are Eli?
William 1798 married to Lavina Methvins, next son is a bit confusing it
says John Cook I don't know if Cook is a middle name or what? anyway it
says 1802 and under his name it says Charity Bailey whom Im assuming he
is married too, next son is Adam 1804 married to Eliz. Hambrick and the
George Washington Campbell 1810. I hope Mr. Raney dosen't mind me
posting this Info, I do not know how to get hold of him. Please
remember this is all conjecture all guess work. Like I have stated
already maybe just maybe there is somone out there who can tie these
Madison and Jackson Co. Campbells together until then too all Campbells
and Geneologists, Happy Hunting and Good LUCK.

Richard
