Bee,

I have a Mabel Campbell who married an Unknown Ferguson.
Mabel's parents were: Edwin Eastman Campbell, b.1857 and Clara Edith Johnson.
Edwin's parents were: John B. Campbell, b.1836 and Julia Ann Eastman.
John's parents were: William Campbell, b.abt 1800 and Elizabeth Unknown, b.8 Dec 1810.

John B. Campbell was the brother of my gg-grandfather, Francis Campbell, b.1833, d.1874.

If I can get in the back door, it is better than no door at all.<G> Any connection, let me know, I have more and will share all I have.

Karen, I have been researching my Dobbins family and find them always connected someway to the Campbells. My last proven Dobbins ancestor was Hugh Dobbins. I first pick him up as a young man in 1742 in Goochland Cty, Va. He marries ca 1745 to Anne Montgomery, daughter of Alexander Montgomery and his Unknown first wife. I have been unable to find out who Hugh Dobbins father & mother were. Circumstantial evidence tells me
he came from Lancaster, Pa and/or forks of the Brandywine. There is another Hugh Dobbins who married Elizabeth Ferguson. Elizabeth Ferguson Dobbins nephews married John & Margaret Campbells two daughters. Plus, Hugh & Elizabeth(Ferguson)Dobbins son Alexander married Catherine McAden and after his death she married 2nd James Campbell.
I guess what I am asking is does your research show anymore info on the two Dobbins women who married Campbell men in Tenn?? Any input will be greatly appreciated. Thanking you in advance, I am Bee
