According to family tales, the daughter of one of the dukes of Argylle married a MacNeil commoner to the family's displeasure. She was disowned and she and her husband paid for passage to America, but were dumped at Prince Edward Island instead. She had a couple of sons and a daughter before she died from the harsh new land. Her daughter Emma MacNeil was born in Winnepeg, Manitoba and she later married Charles Adolphus Roux from Alsaise Loraine...I apologize for my misspelling of the names of locations ahead of time. But I am still trying to find out what the original Campbell's name would have been more about the family. Thanks. Terry
