My GGGF James Givens Campbell was born in Maury Co, TN. His father was
James Campbell and his mother was Peggy Berry. His grandfather was Joseph
Campbell and his mother was Sarah Givens. James Givens Campbell married
Elizabeth Amanda Black in Morgan County, IL and later moved to Iowa and
later to Oregon. They settled in Polk Co., Oregon in 1853.

think it might be theirs. It is Robert, Archibald (SC) Colin , Catherine,
William Campbell a family of children that landed in PA. l725 from Ireland.
There is another set of descendents of White David and they
intermarried(cousins) somewhat. Some ended up in Campbellsville Tenn l788
and helped to establish Campbell Station below Nashville TN> .....I am
stuck at my John Campbell d. l891 but I believe this might likely be his
relatives . this is Maury Co., Giles Co. TN.... Are there any of you that
think your Campbells came to Tenn through Campbell Station in East Tenn. or
moved on down to the Campbellsvi!
