I'm looking for clues on the presumed emigration from
Scotland of David Campbell, son of John Campbell and
Agnes Neil Lawson Campbell, or Ayr, Scotland.

I have tracked David's brothers Archibald, John Lawson
and Walter Davidson, and his sister Amelia to
descendents in Australia, South Africa and Scotland,
except for Archibald who was a sea captain and lost
with his ship in 1892 ... but no sign of David.

His last known place of residence was at 13-15
Wellington Square, Ayr where he resided with the other
bording students and the school rector while attending
Ayr Academy after his parents died in 1870 and 1875.
